Creating New Pages on the Dept Website

Use Firefox for Spell Checking

Firefox provides spell-checking as you type.  Also, the site was developed and tested using firefox, so using firefox should provide the fewest problems.

Firefox is pre-installed on all department computers.

Any Content Can Be Updated

Since the new website is based on a Content Management System (CMS), anyone can create and update content as needed much easier than it could be done previously.  All the editor needs is to do is acquire edit access for the pages that need to be updated.  For more information on access, see "Finding Content You Can Edit."
