Center for Research in Health Behavior

The CRHB is a department-level Center in the Department of Psychology founded in 1988. Our commitment is to conducting state-of-the-art health behavior intervention research that integrates theoretical and public health concerns and objectives. The CRHB strives to be a leader in developing theoretically-based, preventive intervention strategies and testing their efficacy for helping people initiate and sustain critical health behavior changes that will alter future health status.

The Center is comprised of faculty, research faculty, and graduate students from the department of psychology and other departments, as well as a core support staff. The CRHB also serves as a training site for these graduate students specifically aiming toward a career in health behavior research.
