Former Graduate Student Wins Best Paper Award


Recent alum, Dr. Michele Patriquin, is the winner of this year's Best Student Paper awarded for publications in the journal Developmental Psychobiology.  The official title of the award is the Wiley-Hennessy-Smotherman Best Student Paper Award. Michelle will receive $500 and a commemorative engraved plaque at the meeting of the International Society for Developmental Psychobiology (ISDP) in November. Michele is a former student in the Clinical Science graduate program, According to the editor-in-chief of Developmental Psychobiology, Dr. George Michel, there were 12 very strong papers this year and Michele’s was judged best. One of the other 11 finalists was another recent alum of our Developmental and Biological Psychology program – Dr.  Jess Kraybill.
