Kirby Deater-Deckard Selected for Jacobs Foundation Award


Kirby Deater-Deckard and his colleagues have been selected as resident scholars by the Jacobs Foundation in Switzerland: http://jacobsfoundation.org/project/the-jacobs-foundation-marbach-castle-residence-program-2015/. The team also includes Jennifer Lansford and Ken Dodge from Duke University, and Marc Bornstein from NICHD. They will meet at the foundation’s “Marbach Castle” conference center in Öhningen, Germany, on the shore of Lake Constance in August 2015 to start paper projects examining longitudinal cross-cultural data from MICS (UNICEF) (http://www.unicef.org/statistics/index_24302.html) and Parenting Across Cultures (NICHD: http://childandfamilypolicy.duke.edu/project/parenting-adolescent-self-regulation-and-risk-taking-across-cultures/).
