Shara Grant receives SPR Diversity Travel Award

Shara Grant, of Dr. Friedman’s lab ( became one of the first recipients of the Society for Psychophysiological Research’s ( Diversity Travel Award. Shara’s research investigates the effects of caffeine on cardiovascular reactivity in an effort to develop proper methodological controls for this drug. SPR wants to increase representation of scholars from diverse groups in their society and recognizes how diversity can enrich psychophysiological research. Shara commends the society for its commitment and is honored to be the recipient. Shara received a monetary award for travel costs. On September 22nd, she gave a Flash Talk about her research at the conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
