My research interests center around natural disasters and their impact on survivors. Specifically, I am interested in looking at mediators and moderators of health outcomes and what can be done to prevent somatic symptomatology in individuals post-disaster. Additionally, I am interested in introducing emergency medical personal to mental health concerns and integrating emergency medicine and mental health following disasters and/or acts of terrorism.
