Welcome! I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY and recieved my BA from the first Historically Black College, LINCOLN UNIVERSITY.

I am now pursuing my MA/PhD in Clinical Psychology here at VT. Hard work indeed but rewarding in every way!

Thus far, I have served as a teaching assistant for three different subjects: Intro Psychology, Social Psychology, and Advanced Social Psychology. I've discovered that I truly enjoy teaching!

Currently, I am in the data collection process for my Master's thesis. It is titled "Negative Sexual Experiences, Ethnic Identity, and Psychological Health".

Socially, I am a Former Each One reach One mentor. I am currently the Membership-Co-Chair for the Black Graduate Student Organization. I am also the Graduate Advisor for the Association of Black Psychologists at Virginia Tech.

Finally, I have a Professional Portfolio available for you to peruse if you'd like. It includes things such as my teaching philosophy and much more! If interested please visit it at (copy and paste into your browser):
