After completing his undergraduate degree at Colorado State University, Tanner Bateman decided to change things drastically by moving roughly 1800 miles across the country and 3000 feet lower in elevation. Though Tanner longs for the blue skies and "real mountains" of his native Colorado, he has settled quite nicely into the "charming hills" of Virginia.
Tanner has been interested in I/O Psychology since his sophomore year at CSU and quickly set his sights on getting into a quality graduate program. Though he has a knack for causing (mostly harmless) trouble, he has managed to find his way here and start the next chapter of his life. Now, the next challenge is getting his advisors and fellow students to put up with him for the many years to follow. Oh yes, research interests, Tanner's lie primarily in work motivation but he would never refuse an opportunity to study an interesting subject.
